- General Procurement Notice for General Procurement Notice for Laboratory Equipment, Technical Consultants and Regional Workshops The Caribbean Public Health Agency has received financing in the amount equivalent to US$ 140,000 from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and it intends to apply part of the proceeds to payments for goods, works, related services and consulting services to be procured under the project “Reducing the Public Health Impact of Pandemics in the Caribbean through Prevention, Preparedness, and Response”. The general objective of this Technical Cooperation (TC) is to support the Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA) in reducing the public health impact of pandemics in the Caribbean region. This will be achieved by strengthening technical capacities in comprehensive disease surveillance and early response systems, laboratory networks, and human resources and public health workforce capacity, and by enhancing coordination and collaboration at the national and regional levels. Procurement processes of contracts financed by the Inter-American Development Bank will be conducted in accordance with the Policies for Procurement of Goods and Works financed by the Inter-American Development Bank (current edition), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the policies. Consulting services will be selected and contracted in accordance with the Policies for the Selection and Contracting of Consultants financed by the Inter-American Development Bank (current edition).
