- Request for proposals are invited for Engineering Consultancy to Examine the Replacement of the Existing Boiler Technology at the San-Fernando General Hospital, New Wing. The sterilization process at the San Fernando General Hospital includes the use of autoclave sterilizers which utilize saturated steam for the irreversible denaturation of enzymes and structural proteins. The steam for the sterilization process is produced by two (2) service aged electrically driven industrial boilers which are due for replacement.
